Assistant Analysts

Job Description:

  • Assistant Analysts (AAs) work on engagement teams usually consisting of four to five consultants led by a Manager.
  • They are usually assigned to an engagement full-time. Each engagement generally lasts two to six months.
  •   AAs play an active role in all aspects of the work: identifying issues, forming hypotheses, designing and conducting analyses, synthesizing conclusions, and helping to implement change. 
  • While assuming responsibility for a specific area of an engagement, we will encourage you to test your boundaries in problem solving, try different types of engagements, and push yourself.

Specifications:

  • We seek highly motivated people with outstanding academic credentials, minimum of a B.Sc./ B.A degree, Second Class Upper division in any discipline.
  •   A strong record of extracurricular activity and leadership. Prior part-time business experience in jobs requiring analytical or problem-solving work is helpful, and an aptitude for numbers and analysis is important.
  • In addition, we place high value on relevant personal qualities: resourcefulness, tenacity, independence, energy, and self-confidence.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are a must as AAs must be able to work effectively at all levels of an organization – with client team members, managers, and senior executives

Job Description:

  • While on a project engagement, associates take a leading role in identifying issues, forming hypotheses, designing and conducting analyses, structuring workplan, synthesizing conclusions, making presentations, and helping to implement change.
  • Discussions with, and presentations to, client senior management are common.
  • Consultants first focus on problem solving, communications and other core consulting skills.
  • Their level of responsibility is determined by demonstrated ability in these areas. When appropriate, associates progress to the role of engagement manager, where they play an expanded leadership role on their engagement team.
  •  Most associates first work across a range of industries and issues and later are encouraged to focus on a specific industry or functional area.
 

Specifications:

  • Highly motivated people with outstanding academic credentials, a minimum of a B.Sc./ B.A degree, Second Class Upper division in any discipline
  • An MBA or a Post graduate degree will be an added advantage
  •  A track record of delivery, results and value creation over a minimum of four (4) years
  • Change and/ or project management experience as a consultant, or as in-house lead with a large organization
  • Knowledge of more than one of organizational design, reengineering, restructuring, human resource management, information technology management, ERP Systems, market and customer management, market research, financial or information systems risk management, business audits, industry due diligence and review
  • Industry knowledge viz. Financial services, energy & utilities, consumer & industrial products, telecommunications, information and communication and public sector enterprise.
